Grandpa Strong Program

What is It? It’s my online Training/Coaching Program. Online coaching/training is a new and exciting way for me to offer my clients what they need, when they need it, without the limitations and expense of the gym, and in a more cost-effective way than in-person training.

This is not just a bunch of exercises and a vague meal plan but a full step-by-step plan with daily activities to perform. All you will need to do is follow the plan and coaching and you will lose weight, gain strength, and have more energy to do all the things you’ve dreamed of.

I have been a member of the early morning Nordicman camp for over five years. I do affectionately call Lawrence the “Torturer”. I would never do on my own what he carefully plans for us 3 days a week. His exercise routines give us: strength training, cardio, & interval training. You must find exercise that works for you. I was never very athletic but realized that I need regular exercise. I found Nordicman. I have done Interval Training three times a week with Nordicman Fitness, for 5 years now. The fact that it is demanding is important for me. We work hard using body weight and occasionally bands and dumbbells. The fact that Nordicman Interval Training is not boring is important. This is because we almost never do the same exercise routine. It has been really easy for me to stay with it and I am in much better shape than I have ever been.

The program consists of 3 parts.

Fitness: We use functional fitness to get you moving well. What is functional fitness? Functional fitness is a classification of training that prepares the body for real-life movements and activities. It trains your muscles to work together and prepares them for daily tasks by simulating common movements you might do at home, at work, or in sports. Your journey will begin with a Functional Movement Screen (FMS). You will receive a personalized corrective exercise routine based on your FMS results and each month 2-3 of my “FUN”ctional fitness workouts (based on your goals) right on your phone with video instructions for each exercise. You will also have access to Fit Camp Live via  Zoom (MWF at 6am or 5pm) if you’d like some group fun.

Nutrition: You will receive coaching to equip you with all the information you need to make healthy diet decisions. This will include articles like Intuitive Eating & the Hunger Scale. Also included is a monthly recipe pack of 15 recipes with sample meal plan and shopping list to make eating healthy easy and delicious. 

Mindset: You will receive coaching on eliminating bad & unhealthy habits and replace them with healthy ones, using the slow change method where you will be given daily tasks to perform to keep you making progress. You will work on habits like Stop Snacking, Eat Real Food, and Eat Your Greens.

You’ll have stronger accountability and support. You can view and record any activities I’ve assigned you. This includes logging workouts, nutrition, uploading progress photos and updating measurements. I’ll be able to keep you motivated and on point by sending you tailored messages through our messaging board. 

All this means you get to see better and faster results, all on your schedule.
